Vein Disease Treatment |
| |
| Due to recent advancements in varicose vein treatment, there are new options for people who suffer from vein disorders. These treatment options are safe, effective and minimally invasive, unlike surgical vein stripping, which was the primary treatment option in the past. |
|
First Steps |
|
| The first step in getting the relief you deserve is meeting with our physician for a consultation. If you are diagnosed with large varicose vein disease, you will also need to have an ultrasound mapping to aid us in determining the optimal treatment plan to meet your specific needs. |

Non-Surgical Treatment |
|
Our comprehensive, non-surgical approach includes the COMPASSSM protocol of Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy, as well as Endovenous Laser Treatment(ELT)
The average ELT patient will require Sclerotherapy in conjunction with ELT to treat the smaller veins. Consequently, it is essential for a patient to choose a treatment provider who is equally skilled in ELT and Sclerotherapy to ensure complete, satisfactory and long-term results.
Our refined use of Sclerotherapy, combined with ELT, allows us to meet the needs of our patients by treating the smallest spider vein to the largest ropelike varicose vein.
Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. The patient can be back on his or her feet resuming normal activities the next day, or even sooner. |

Post-Treatment Follow-Up |
|
| Once you have completed treatment, you will need to come back for follow-up ultrasounds at three, six, and twelve months. Any recurrence or progression of the disease is quickly treated before it has the opportunity to worsen. |
