Dr. Leo Harry received his undergraduate training from Howard University, Washington, D.C., where he also completed his medical education and served his internship.

Dr. Harry has served as a primary care physician and medical director for a variety of facilities throughout Maryland. He also has extensive experience in the public sector of healthcare, serving as chief of an outpatient clinic and emergency room while in the U.S. Army and as a General Medical Officer for the Public Health Service. In addition, he is a member of the American College of Phlebology.

Dr. Harry has extensive experience in the treatment of venous disorders, having joined Vein Clinics of America (VCA) in 1990. He is co-author of VCA's published treatment protocol and is highly accomplished in COMPASS (Comprehensive Objective Mapping, Precise Image Guided Injection, Anti-reflux Positioning and Sequential Sclerotherapy).

He is also proficient in endovenous laser treatment, or ELT. Laser technology, known for its precision, safety, and simplicity, is now available for the treatment of varicose veins, and was FDA-approved for this indication in 2002. VCA extensively reviewed this procedure for its safety and efficacy before introducing it to its patients.

According to Dr. Harry the field of phlebology is rewarding because "the results of treatment, in general, have been excellent, and in some cases so dramatic that profound, desirable changes have occurred in self-esteem and lifestyle."

Dr. Harry is supported by an exceptional team of nurses and ultrasound technologists dedicated to service and excellence in the treatment of chronic venous diseases.
