Dr. Baquero's comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy as well as endovenous laser treatment (ELT). Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day.
In addition to leg veins, Dr. Baquero also treats facial, chest, arm and hand veins.
Prior to joining the Vein Clinics of America (VCA) network, Dr. Baquero served as a medical advisor to the President of the Dominican Republic. He has also served as the President of the Dominican Institute of Kidney Transplants and is currently the President of the Transplant Society of Latin America and Caribbean. Most recently, Dr. Baquero practiced as the Chief of Surgery at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, VA.

"Venous disease is not just a cosmetic disease. Helping a patient with vein problems is as rewarding as any life-saving transplant surgery."
- Ashley Baquero, MD
