Dr. Sonde’s comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, as well as endovenous laser treatment (ELT).
Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day.

Prior to joining the Vein Clinics of America (VCA) network, Dr. Sonde practiced at Riverside Primary Care and Family Practice of Crofton in Maryland. She is an elected Fellow of the American College of Physicians, as well as a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Phlebology. She also serves as a physician ambassador for an international organization of physician knowledge sharing between various countries and cultures called People to People Citizen Ambassador.
