Joseph Hagman, M.D. graduated from The Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Thereafter, Dr. Hagman completed his diagnostic radiology residency at The University of Kansas-Wichita School of Medicine, and trained as a fellow in vascular and interventional radiology at The University of Texas Medical Branch of Galveston, TX.
Prior to joining Vein Clinics of America (VCA), Dr. Hagman practiced vascular and interventional radiology for 20 years at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas.
He has been president of the Dallas/Fort Worth Radiology Society. Dr. Hagman is certified by the American Board of Radiology, including additional subspecialty certification in vascular and interventional radiology.
Upon joining VCA
, Dr. Hagman underwent further extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease, and related disorders. During this time, he was trained in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous laser treatment, also referred to as ELT or EVLT.
