Prior to joining the Vein Clinics of America (VCA) network, Dr. Bulger served as Medical Director for Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) Center for Wound Care and as Chief of Vascular Surgery for ECHN Hospitals in Manchester, CT. He is also a Registered Vascular Technologist. Dr. Bulger is supported by an exceptional clinical and administrative team dedicated exclusively to the treatment of chronic venous disorders.

Minimally Invasive Treatment

Dr Bulger’s comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, as well as endovenous laser treatment (ELT). Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day.

Varicose and Spider Vein Treatment

Simone N. Bentley is an AANP Board certified nurse practitioner. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry from Central CT State University and in Nursing from Seton Hall University. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. Simone has also completed extensive training in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, including venous, arterial, diabetic wounds from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. She is board certified in wound and ostomy care through CWOCNB. Prior to joining Vein Clinics of America, Simone practiced geriatric medicine and wound care in a number of long-term care facilities across Connecticut. She is BLS and ACLS certified and is a member of Connecticut Advanced Practice Nurses Association. Upon joining VCA, Simone underwent further extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. During this time, she was trained in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy. Simone is supported by an exceptional clinical and administrative team dedicated to excellence in the treatment of chronic vein disorders.
