Minimally Invasive Treatment
Dr. Potter's refined use of sclerotherapy, combined with his proficiency in Endovenous Laser Treatment (ELT), a minimally invasive laser treatment that is performed in the office using local anesthesia only, allows him to meet the needs of each patient by treating the smallest spider vein to the largest ropelike varicose vein.
Experience Matters
Prior to joining the Vein Clinics of America (VCA) network, he served as a locum tenens surgeon throughout Oregon and Washington.
Upon joining VCA, Dr. Potter completed a preceptorship in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders, including techniques for ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy. This is an advanced form of sclerotherapy, where a foam solution is injected directly into the varicose vein, thereby inducing the body’s own healing system to absorb and ablate the vein over time.
"I am very pleased to be able to offer men and women suffering with all degrees of varicose vein disease these state-of-the-art treatment options in an office-based, outpatient setting."
