Minimally Invasive Treatment
Dr. Shevitz’s comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, as well as endovenous laser treatment (ELT). Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day.
Experience Matters
Prior to joining Vein Clinics of America, Dr. Shevitz was an attending physician for seven years in the emergency department at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. This was a tertiary care facility and teaching hospital affiliated with West Virginia University. Dr. Shevitz was an Associate Clinical Professor as well as the Medical Director of the HealthNet Aeromedical program. He then practiced Emergency Medicine for ten years at Boca Raton Community Hospital in Boca Raton, FL.
