"I take great pleasure in educating people about minimally invasive varicose vein treatment options. It is very rewarding to help others regain self-confidence while treating a progressive and symptomatic disease."

Varicose and Spider Vein Treatment

Experience Matters

Prior to joining the Vein Clinics of America (VCA) network, he was an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of South Alabama's Level One Trauma Center teaching both residents and medical students. Dr. Wan also practiced emergency medicine at the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and Infirmary West Medical Center in Mobile, AL as well as the North Baldwin Infirmary Medical Center in Bay Minette, AL. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Medical Specialties and the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Wan is supported by an exceptional clinical and administrative team dedicated exclusively to the treatment of chronic venous disorders.

Minimally Invasive Treatment

Dr. Wan's comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, as well as Endovenous Laser Treatment (ELT). Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day. Dr. Wan is also now offering Veinwave™, an exciting new treatment for spider and fine thread veins of the legs and face. The introduction of our latest offering reflects our ongoing commitment to bringing our patients new and effective, minimally invasive treatment options.
