Dr. James's comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, as well as Endovenous Laser Treatment (ELT). Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day.

Experience Matters
Prior to joining Vein Clinics of America (VCA), Dr. James practiced cardiothoracic surgery and endovascular surgery with Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery of Alabama, PC. He was the director of two vein clinics in Alabama and has treated varicose veins for over ten years. Dr. James also served as an officer in the United States Air Force Medical Service Corps. He is a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, The American College of Phlebology, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology. Dr. James is supported by an exceptional clinical and administrative team dedicated to excellence in the treatment of chronic venous disorders.
