Dr. Vayuvegula’s comprehensive, minimally invasive approach includes ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy as well as endovenous laser treatment (ELT). Neither option requires hospitalization or surgery. Instead, each is performed in the physician's office. You can be back on your feet resuming normal activities the same day.
Experience Matters
Dr. Vayuvegula is board certified in emergency medicine and phlebology. He was a member of the inaugural class to become certified by the American Board of Phlebology, recognizing him as one who has met rigorous standards of knowledge, skills, and experience to provide quality care to vein disease patients.
He earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 1999 and completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Vayuvegula’s interest in vein disease began during his residency when he noticed the lack of treatment options for people suffering from venous insufficiency ulcers. His interest increased when he learned that he was one of the 80 million Americans suffering from varicose vein disease.
