Minimally Invasive Treatment
Dr. Shapiro has had interest in vein disease for many years. Upon joining the VCA network, he underwent extensive training in Phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. During this time, he was trained in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and Endovenous Laser Treatment (ELT).
His refined use of these minimally invasive procedures allows him to meet the needs of each patient by treating a wide spectrum of venous insufficiency from the smallest spider vein to largest varicose vein.
