Jiyong Ahn, M.D. graduated from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also completed his residency and chief residency in diagnostic radiology. Thereafter, Dr. Ahn underwent fellowship training in cardiovascular interventional radiology at Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY.
Prior to joining Vein Clinics of America (VCA), Dr. Ahn held faculty positions at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Albany Medical Center. He was also the Attending Chief of Interventional Radiology at White Plains Hospital. Finally, Dr. Ahn transitioned from his role as Head of Rearch & Development with Isaac Medical Device into his current role at VCA.
Upon joining VCA, Dr. Ahn underwent further extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. During this time, he was trained in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous laser treatment, also referred to as ELT or EVLT.
Dr. Ahn is supported by an exceptional clinical and administrative team dedicated to excellence in the treatment of chronic vein disorders.
