She reported a 30-year history of having painful varicose veins in her leg and had experienced a blood clot in the leg six years prior. My examination of her leg revealed bulging varicose veins that were part of the Great Saphenous Vein system extending down her entire leg."

Dr. Gray says, "I recommended treatment to the leg using Duplex ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy to eliminate the varicose vein problem and prevent future episodes of painful Thrombophlebitis. Mary came to Vein Clinics of America with various patches of telangiectasias, or spider veins, affecting both legs, but slightly more predominate on the left leg. She complained of intermittent leg restlessness and occasional leg aching. I recommended she have 3-4 sclerotherapy sessions per leg.
