Julie is a mother who runs a family and parenting website where she writes about family life, natural wellness, and activities you can do with kids.
She first started noticing there was something wrong with her veins when she only 15 when she noticed a spot on her leg. She wasn’t sure what it was at first, but it turned out to be her veins. As she got older, Julie’s veins started to become more prominent and in her 20s she developed symptoms that included itching and throbbing and a lot of discomfort in her veins and calves.
Why Julie Came to Vein Clinics of America
Julie wasn’t sure what to do about it as she didn’t know about vein disease and thought it was something superficial, something she should just live with. But one day, Julie’s sister told her that she had been going to Vein Clinics of America, and told her all about how easy it was to go in and get a free consultation to find out if there was anything Vein Clinics of America could do for her. Right away, she was told that she had some significant vein disease but that laser therapy could take care of it.
Julie decided to go through the process of going through vein therapy and noticed that, “Immediately, after I had some laser therapy, I noticed that the visible veins went down. I didn’t have the bulging veins, and as I started to heal from the process, I no longer had the itching and throbbing, and so I also felt more comfortable. Now, going back day-to-day, I didn’t have the itching or the discomfort or the tired leg.”
Reflecting on her experience, Julie remembers when she came in for her initial consultation. “When I first got my consultation with Dr. Zambuto, he told me that for my age my vein disease was actually pretty progressed. It had actually been something significant. It wasn’t superficial. It was actually a disease that could’ve caused me more problems down the road, so I was thankful to be able to take care of it now and get to now enjoy healthy legs and legs I don’t even think about anymore because now I don’t have to.”
