Lisa is a busy mother of four young children who also owns a cookie business, so she doesn’t sit unless she’s sleeping. She first noticed pain from varicose veins when she was a 16-year-old cheerleader. Things got worse with her first pregnancy and worsened each time she got pregnant. Though in her late 20s, she felt like she had 80-year-old legs, with throbbing, achy pain. Though sad and disappointed, she began to accept the situation as something she would just have to live with.
Why Lisa Came to Vein Clinics of America
Lisa found out about Vein Clinics of America through a friend. Her first thought was that the treatment would be too expensive, but she was told that many insurance companies cover the procedure. She was excited to hear that she might actually have options, that her disease wasn’t something she would be stuck living with for the rest of her life.
Lisa says, “It was the best thing that I have ever done. A major, complete transformation, that’s what I felt I had. I got my legs back.
If I hadn’t had vein treatments from Vein Clinics of America, I could not have started this cookie company and open a bakery and pursue these dreams. I love that I was able to teach my kids that you can be strong and beautiful. It’s so well worth it. It’s nice to be able to go out running or go to the gym and be able to sport shorts that I want to wear and feel comfortable and confident in my body.”
Lisa says, “One of my dreams was to do a figure competition. So, after a few years of vein treatments, I decided I was ready. Not only did I get up there and look awesome, but I won first place. The year after that I won Mrs. Illinois, but I also won the swim suit competition. None of these things would have been possible if I didn’t have vein treatments done from Vein Clinics of America.
I would highly recommend Vein Clinics of America for everybody that’s suffering from a vein disease because you’re able to pursue your dreams, become comfortable with your body. It’s just a dream come true.”
