Vein Specialization: Dr. Perez is a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI) as well as a registered vascular technologist (RVT). He has had extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. At Vein Clinics of America, he specializes in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous thermal ablation (EVTA).

 Medical Credentials: He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Medical Center in New York.

Prior Experience: Dr. Perez was an emergency department staff physician at Memorial Hospital Miramar as well as a wound care and hyperbaric medicine physician at Memorial Hospital Pembroke.

Professional Affiliations: He is a Member of the American Board of Phlebology, the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound. He is also a Major in the United States Army Medical Corps.
