Your legs are in good hands with Dr. Christos Pappas. He was named “Top Doctor” in thoracic surgery by Connecticut Magazine for four years straight. Dr. Pappas joined Vein Clinics of America to better educate patients on the benefits of minimally invasive vein treatments.
Dr. Pappas has extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. He specializes in best-in-class minimally invasive procedures including ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous thermal ablation.
A graduate of the Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Pappas also completed his postgraduate training as a surgical resident and chief resident of surgery there. His medical education continued with a two-year fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at George Washington University.
Dr. Christos Pappas was in private practice in Norwalk and Stamford, specializing in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. He was previously Head, Section General, Thoracic Surgery at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT.
