Your legs are in good hands with Dr. David Buckwalter, who after thirteen years as a board-certified family medicine practitioner, chose to take a more active role in treating vein disease by focusing exclusively on this specialty at VCA.

Vein Specialization

Dr. Buckwalter has extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. At Vein Clinics of America, he specializes in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous thermal ablation.

He graduated from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and then completed his residency in family and community medicine through Penn State University/Hershey Medical Center in Lebanon, PA.

Most recently, Dr. Buckwalter practiced urgent care medicine at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA, while at the same time being a partner in his own practice in Harleysville, PA. He has practiced inpatient and outpatient medicine in central Pennsylvania, and in Barrow, AK.
