Your legs are in good hands with Harvard-trained Dr. Domenic Zambuto. He brings his extensive experience in diagnostic radiology and minimally invasive vein treatments to target the right treatment for each patient.
Vein Specialization: Dr. Zambuto has extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. He is skilled in minimally invasive techniques including ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous thermal ablation (EVTA).
Medical Credentials: Dr. Zambuto received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed both his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Prior Experience: Dr. Zambuto served as Chief Resident in the Department of Radiology and Chief Fellow in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. Most recently, he was Director of Interventional Radiology at Hartford Hospital.
Professional Affiliations: Dr. Zambuto has been elected to the IAC Vein Center Board of Directors as a representative from the Society of Interventional Radiologists (SIR), and is an active member of the American College of Phlebology, and the American College of Radiology.
