Your legs are in good hands with Dr. Fatisha Gayton, a board-certified emergency physician. She combines her extensive medical and surgical experience with a specialized knowledge of vein disease to offer patients best-in-class treatments that result in healthier legs.

Vein Specialization: Dr. Gayton has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. At Vein Clinics of America, she specializes in ultrasound-guided radiofrequency and laser therapies of varicose veins as well as foam sclerotherapy.

Medical Credentials: Dr. Gayton graduated from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 2001. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine.

Prior Experience: Dr. Gayton previously worked as an Emergency Physician at INOVA Alexandria Hospital and Sibley ED. She is an active member at Sibley Memorial, a Johns Hopkins institution. She served as an Assistant Director of Contract Physicians in the Emergency Department at Dewitt Army Hospital in 2009 and with the Department of Defense in Germany at the Heidelberg Army Hospital. She worked as a 1 year fellow in molecular genetics at the NIDCD, NIH prior to medical school.

Professional Affiliations: Dr. Gayton is certified as a Diplomate, American College of Emergency Physicians. She is also an ACLS instructor and member of the American College of Phlebology.

After 13 years of a procedural based scope of medical and surgical practice, I wanted to narrow down my medical practice to a field which personally affected me. Seeing my improvement in symptoms and cosmetics of varicose veins and vein disease makes me want to give that gift to my patients.
