Vein Specialization
Dr. Hansen has extensive training in phlebology, the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. At Vein Clinics of America, he specializes in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous thermal ablation.
Medical Credentials
Dr. Hansen graduated from Texas A&M University. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and was a member of AOA. Dr. Hansen completed his residency in general and vascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine under legendary cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Michael E. DeBakey and completed his residency in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Emory University. He has performed over 9,000 cardiovascular surgeries and has been involved in vein care his entire career.
Prior Experience
Dr. Hansen has practiced in Lubbock and in College Station, TX, the majority of his career. He has also served on the Baylor surgical faculty.
