Your legs are in good hands with Dr. Mark Ciagne who trained in general surgery and more recently worked in occupational medicine and urgent care. He combines his medical experience with a specialized knowledge of vein disease to offer patients best-in-class treatments that result in healthier legs.

VEIN SPECIALIZATION: Dr. Ciagne has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. At Vein Clinics of America, he specializes in ultrasound-guided foam schlerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and endovenous thermal treatments.

MEDICAL CREDENTIALS: He graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. Dr. Ciagne completed his general surgery residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He went on to complete his occupational and environmental fellowship at Regions Hospital/Health Partners in St. Paul, MN.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Dr. Ciagne worked as an attending occupational and urgent care physician at Park Nicollet in St. Paul, MN. Previously, he served as a general and trauma surgeon at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS: Dr. Ciagne is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society, American College of Preventative Medicine (ACPM), American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), Hitchcock Surgical Society.
